[OS X TeX] Texshop files and netatalk Volumes

Hello All

I am hoping someone has either seen this and knows of a fix

I have serveral users using  Texshop , their files reside on a  
Netatalk 2.0.3 Volume hosted on a NETBSD file server.

When the users write texshop files to the netatalk volume, mounted as  
a network share on their computer, the file writes correctly , but  
does not show up in the OS X finder ( 10.4.x and 10.3.x)

Typesetting the file if you have it open creates all the right  
files , all of which are veiwable via the finder, it is only .tex  
files that don't show


the terminal ls command shows the files correctly

any help greatly appreciated.
