[OS X TeX] graphicspath

It doesn't work quite that simply for me as

    \includegraphics{Picture1} in TeXFile2.tex

doesn't work with

    \graphicspath{{../../GraphicsFolder1/}}

but since it does work with

    \graphicspath{{../../Chapter1Folder/GraphicsFolder1/}}   

I assume that the number of ../ must stand for the number of levels back 
up to the common level (Chapter level) from which the levels down must 
be listed. (Hard to phrase.)
