Hi Ury,

First you need to make sure TeXShop is running in pdfTeX mode (verify
Pdftex is checked at the end of the Typeset menu). Then:

- Either you're willing to include single-page PDF files (such as an
image, a figure, etc.), and the way forward is the graphics/x
package. See /Library/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/doc/latex/graphics/
grfguide.ps.

- Either you're willing to include multi-page PDF files (or even
extracting pages from PDF documents, combining several PDF documents
together, rearranging pages of a PDF document, etc.), and the way
forward is the pdfpages package. See /Library/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/
doc/latex/pdfpages/pdfpages.dvi.

If you're just willing to process PDF files outside LaTeX, you can
also use the texexec executable in Terminal. To know more about it,
type "man texexec" in Terminal, and/or read /Library/teTeX/share/
texmf.tetex/doc/context/base/mtexexec.pdf. (Despite what the path
suggests, texexec can be used outside ConTeXt.)

That said, I prefer not to be contacted personally for TeX issues,
and that questions go to the OS X TeX mailing list instead. In
addition to allowing me to contribute or not according to my daily
schedule, this also makes it more likely for you to get prompt,
relevant and varied answers.

Hope this helps,
