When I set up TeX on OSX a couple of years ago, I found the Web site
http://ii2.sourceforge.net/tex-index.html
(and the Will Robertson guide http://www.mecheng.adelaide.edu.au/%
7Ewill/texstart/) very useful for helping me
get oriented.
But it looks like it has not been updated for some time. For example,
the section "the gwTeX (re)distribution" starts out with
"My gwTeX (re)distribution combines TeX Live (for the programs and
scripts), teTeX (for the basic foundation) and some additions/changes
by myself."
This is clearly out of date.
Is there an alternative site that is more up to date? If not, where
should I start? (I just downloaded version 2.86 BSD.)
Thanks in advance.
