Is Adobe Reader your default viewer for pdf files? Texdoc should  
normally choose the default viewer of your system to open your  
document. You can check it by selecting a pdf file in the Finder and  
doing a "command-i" on it. There is a "open with..." section or  
something like that (in my French installation,  "ouvrir avec...").
