[OS X TeX] TeXShop does not work

The resulting path will look like: /usr/texbin/pdflatex
in Texshop put the path in the preferences->engine, but ommit the
"pdflatex": e.g. /usr/texbin
If "which" can't find your pdf-latex, you need to edit the
file .bash_profile in your users directory and add the path /usr/
texbin to the PATH-variable... there should already be something like
"declare -x PATH= ..." just add your path, seperated by a colon -
just like all the others.
That should do it,
