:-)

I use vi for creating my .tex files and entering all the content.
It is also handy for mass substitute/replace operations.

Once I'm done with entering content, I switch to TeXShop since  
tweaking spaces, bullets, footnotes, etc. is easy and the quick  
<apple-T> gets me fast feedback with minimal effort.

The right tool for the job.
If you every only do one job... :-)
