[OS X TeX] I'm done with TeXShop as my main editor

Well, it's just that you're supposed to type on your keyboard with
your 2 hands and so unless you have a third one helping, leaving your
hands on the keyboard remains the fastest solution... That's why they
also make keyboard shortcuts. But sure, it's a little bit nerdy and is
not suitable for everything. I'd say for document writing, you can
probably make a case for various ways of input and interaction but
seriously, when you're programming, the mouse is really getting in the
way.

When I was in school in France, I remember having to learn emacs for
Java programming and let's just say it didn't make a very good
impression on me while you can argue the mechanics of emacs are
somehow similar to vi... As usual, it's really a matter of taste. But
I think there was no trap in Robert Bruner's text :)
