[OS X TeX] I'm done with TeXShop as my main editor

Quick clarification:  my affection for vi is not an attack on TeXShop.
In fact I wish I had the time to download it and give it a try.
(I hope to do so in early Jan!)
An integrated environment that makes previewing and editing
easy, checks for balanced environments etc, sounds great.

One problem with already knowing how to do something well enough to
get by is that it is easy to fail to take advantage of better tools.
