[OS X TeX] aid with urlbst on a custom-bib file

No. *You* need to find the configure script that is for the software  
you are going to install for to *configure* it, prepare it, for your  
software and hardware architecture. Almost every software comes with  
its own configure script and its own specialised .IN files. The ready  
product does not need the configure script. To check, grep for the  
string configure in the executable, either the original one in / 
Documents/... or its copy in /usr/local/bin.

I would be very surprised if urlbst uses a configure script to do its  
job, which is just setting up BIB files?
