Herb,
there is: ServiceScrubber from http://www.petermaurer.de. It has on
the left a list of all service providers it found. Once you select
one, you can see on the right what services it provides and to which
keys these are bound. And you can switch off services or service
providers.
I didn't do much with it, because I only have a few specialised
services installed – but there are a lot of applications that "offer"
their services for free, of which I'd like to switch off quite a few!
I got curious: an inspector seems to allow to change the default
bindings ...
