[OS X TeX] i-Installer installation question

I believe you want to ``make a fat package'' in i-Installer --- once  
this is done, then it works pretty much as you envision.

Alternately, why not use MacTeX? You could then designate one machine  
as a test bed and try out up-dates on it before rolling out to the  
others.
