Run i-Installer again, but in "Configure Only" mode. Then proceed to  
check "CLI Activation" – CLI stands for "Command Line Activation."  
This will extend the PATH (or path) environment variable that the  
programmes installed with i-Installer will be found in the next  
Terminal you open.

I don't know where Java gets knowledge of path or PATH ...
