[OS X TeX] TeX problem on Mac BookPro

I have a house letter style that TeXShop (v1..35) that handles  
without difficulty on my Mac G5.

On my Mac BookPro, using TeXShop 2.09 the letter fails to type set.  
The error message says it cannot find the headerfooter.sty file. But  
this file is in ~/Library/texfm/tex/latex, which is where it should  
be findable. Other personal style files in this location work just fine.

Any suggestions?
