Should be ~/Library/texmf/tex/ at least, ~/Library/texmf/tex/latex/ 
uarial/ would be even better.

Running in Terminal

	kpsewhich --show-path tex

will tell you where TeX and friends look for files of type "tex" (to  
which belongs a .sty file). See /Library/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/doc/ 
programs/kpathsea.pdf pp. 35 ff.
