Yes, Command-Click is (er... was -- see below) not working.
I think I have found out something interesting about the sync function -- though, as always I'm open to correction. (By the way, my sample from home where sync was working is now syncing correctly here at work. I must not have been paying attention.) My original sample that I made up here at work was very simple indeed: one sentence that I copied and pasted dozens and dozens of times over four pages, breaking some the the text into paragraphs occasionally. Syncing did not work. As soon as I deleted the original simple text, and replaced it with text that was unique from start to finish (over four pages) syncing worked perfectly. Interesting.
Problem solved.
