[OS X TeX] Can't find required tool

Have you 'messed' with any of the system wide files? I just updated  
an all my path settings are intact. Also the whole 'which'-shabang  
workes fine as well, and I have fink and some other non-Apple UNIX- 
stuff installed as well.
