there is a new ifpdf.sty: 2005/07/22 v1.3; the one in experimental  
TeX i-package is 2001/07/14 v1.1.

Also, there is a new microtype.sty: 2005/06/23 v1.8; in experimental  
TeX i-package you have 2005/02/02 v1.6a.
