[OS X TeX] BibTeX, chicago & full first names in bibliography?

Dear All,

does anyone have any idea how one should go about configuring or  
tweaking the chicago-package so that it would make a bibliography  
with authors' first name in full -- i.e. not just the initial(s)?  
Chicago fits in perfectly with my manuscript, but the potential  
publisher _insists_ on having full names.
