[OS X TeX] TeXShop doesn't open dvi-files

simpdftex assumes you would like to use ghostscript (ps2pdf13).  
Apparently you do not have the ghostscript package installed.

Preview uses the Apple/Adobe ps to pdf converter. Not GhostScript.

To resolve the issue, just install the ghostscript package with i- 
Installer.
