[OS X TeX] MacTeX Distribution test: XeTeX broken

I believe the current test package includes a broken XeTeX setup; I'm  
investigating this. Currently, it may help to run:

     sudo fmtutil-sys --missing

in Terminal after installation. But obviously, this is not an  
acceptable situation.
