Hello all,
this is just to thank the many people in this list
who helped me with my problems resizing text fields.
May I formulate some criticisms (how ungrateful I am!)
on Bruno's suggestions :
>In any case, I think it would be better to use, in LaTeX:
>
>\begin{flushright}
> Q.~E.~D. \\
> [similar lines, if necessary, all separated by "\\"]
>\end{flushright}
>
If a new environment is defined, LaTeX automatically
inserts a \newline (like this :)
>this is our last sentence.
>
Q.E.D.
but this is not what I want, I want a single line (like this ) :
>this is our last sentence. Q.E.D.
In any case, it is LaTeX's job to deal automatically with
line breaking according to the size of the text, and not mine
to insert "\\"'s everywhere.
Besides, I am surprised at hearing that in this case "flushright"
is better than "\hfill". Was "\hfill" not designed specifically for
this purpose ?
