Because you must not use ``.´´! ``.´´ means in file system syntax 
'right here where I am'. So the search starts <at here where my Tex 
document is>/Users/ego/Work/Base -- and this almost nirvana!

And so it has to fail in Base with try.tex, because this file, in 
respect to where the search begins, is in ../../../../, some floors 
above.
