[OS X TeX] Texshop: strange problem with French letter

Howdy,

Go into Document Tab of Preferences and uncheck Auto Complete. That
completely turns off the Auto Completion (as opposed to Command Completion,
which is something totally different) for the keyboard.

If you want to retain some of the Auto Completion features (e.g., typing ^
gives you ^{} with the any selection and the insertion point placed between
the braces unless the ^ is preceded by a \) you'll have to edit the
~/Library/TeXShop/Keyboard/autocompletion.plist file.
