[OS X TeX] TeXShop is SSLLOOOWW on 10.4 for me

I have TeXShop 2.01 and am using it on my PowerBook. It seems to take  
forever to save a document, and to typeset it (using XeTeX). Is  
anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas what I can do to solve this?  
I have fixed permissions.
