[OS X TeX] The TeXShop problem on Tiger

I just did a little experimentation with the new TeXShop on Tiger.
The first time I typeset a document (resulting in about 75 pages) the
CPU usage continues at almost 100% for about 15 seconds. The second
time I typeset the same document, CPU usage continues at almost 100%
indefinitely and I have to kill the application.
If I change TeXShop to external editor mode and tell TeXShop to
typeset the document from BBEdit using an applescript, none of this
happens. CPU usage goes to almost 0% immediately after TeXShop
redisplays the PDF.
It appears that there is a problem with the TeXShop editor and PDF
viewer being active at the same time.
On the whole everything is behaving beautifully with Tiger, and I'm
very pleased. However, I attempted to install the iWork '05 demo from
the CD that they included with the Tiger install disk, and it keeps
crashing mid way through the install.
