[OS X TeX] Equation Service

Does anyone know of any incompatibilities between Equation Service  
1.0 and OS X 10.4.1 and Mail 2.0.1?

ES is working fine in TextEdit, but only the drag+drop functionality  
is working in Mail (I am opening messages in Rich Text format).  Will  
I have to wait for ES 1.1?  I'd really love to be able to compile  
LaTeX code directly in Mail, so and help would be appreciated!
