Interesting to see fellow OO users here.
And the OO-TeX connection will certainly becoming more interesting as
we go along.

To be more specific (for those of you not on the OO mailing-list),
members of the Omni Group are in fact writing a plugin for LaTeX export
but this plugin isn't ready. One of the developers (James Moore) sent
the following message to the OO list:
> The LaTeX plugin is in a beta state right now. Unfortunately finishing
> the plugin is queued behind several other things like getting caught
> up on support email. I had hoped to have the plugin out by now but
> there just hasn't been enough time.

It seems that Omni felt pressured into releasing OO3 before everything
surrounding it was ready. At least we have a stable version of the main
application but those of us who were waiting for those missing features
are in an awkward position.

As Curtis said, there was an AppleScript for LaTeX export. It does work
in OO3. I still use it to produce my lesson plans and have been doing
so since the private beta of OO3.
Haven't tried Adam Lindsay's ConTeXt XML plugin. It seems like an
interesting route and might make me try using ConTeXt. Once again.

Good luck!

Alex
