[OS X TeX] PostScript to Truetype

I own an old PostScript font called "Birds" (two files: BirdsEF and 
BirdsEF.bmap).

How do I convert it to TrueType? I have tried out FontForge, but did 
not really get what I need. The documentation is not understandable for 
me.
