[OS X TeX] dots in Texshop

Starting at exactly 50% I see them in TeXShop 1.35e, converted with 
AFPL Ghostscript 8.14 (2004-02-20).

Do have a colourful background in TeXShop? What screen are you using? 
Mine is about 110 DPI (as Mozilla found) LCD.
