[OS X TeX] names of Appendices

Apparently, this depends on the use of \numberline in the .toc file. As 
far as I can see, the result can be manipulated manually by either 
removing the \numberline declarations in in the .toc file (and move the 
following text left to avoid indentation), or by inserting an 
\hspace{4em} command just before the headings name in in the 
contentslines of the .toc.

There is sure to be a more elegant solution somewhere.
