[OS X TeX] Indexes

hi,
I followed the thread re. indexing and wondered whether anyone has had any experience with 'LaTeX Index Builder' that is mentioned on https://gna.org/projects/latex-indexbuild/. From the README it appears straightforward, however I could need a hint on how to install it. It is mentioned to do this via `make install` but I'm a bit puzzled in which directory.
