[OS X TeX] status of Spotlight indexing of .tex files?

Folks,

TeXShop files have type TEXT and creator TeXs. Until the release of  
10.4.3,
TEXT files were indexed by the system. This changed in 10.4.3
and TeXShop files are no longer indexed.

I'm aware of this problem and hope to have a fix fairly soon. In  
reply to
Jerome, we need to avoid a proliferation of importers for .tex files.  
I have
no intention of writing my own.

For the moment, let's adopt Norman Gall's importer when it becomes
available. Over time the TeX community can suggest importer  
improvements,
but we need a basic importer fairly soon.
