So the file that shows on Spotlight gives me:

2005-12-07 00:28:20.877 mdimport[3407] Import
'/Users/Kheldar/Documents/Research/Reports_Papers_Confs/RENO_06/abstract.tex
' type 'dyn.ah62d4um4ge81k3p2' no mdimporter
2005-12-07 00:28:20.879 mdimport[3407] Sending attributes of
'/Users/Kheldar/Documents/Research/Reports_Papers_Confs/RENO_06/abstract.tex
' to server.  Attributes: '{
    "_kMDItemImporterCrashed" = <null>;
    "com_apple_metadata_modtime" = 139539175;
    kMDItemContentCreationDate = 2005-06-03 11:53:46 -0400;
    kMDItemContentModificationDate = 2005-06-03 20:52:55 -0400;
    kMDItemContentType = "dyn.ah62d4um4ge81k3p2";
    kMDItemContentTypeTree = (
        "com.apple.traditional-mac-plain-text",
        "public.plain-text",
        "public.text",
        "public.data",
        "public.item",
        "public.content"
    );
    kMDItemDisplayName = {"" = "abstract.tex"; };
    kMDItemKind = {"" = tex; };
}'

The other file gives me:

2005-12-07 00:29:36.328 mdimport[3409] Import
'/Users/Kheldar/Documents/Research/Thesis/mythesis.tex' type
'dyn.ah62d4um4ge81k3p2' no mdimporter
2005-12-07 00:29:36.330 mdimport[3409] Sending attributes of
'/Users/Kheldar/Documents/Research/Thesis/mythesis.tex' to server.
Attributes: '{
    "_kMDItemImporterCrashed" = <null>;
    "com_apple_metadata_modtime" = 155383146;
    kMDItemContentCreationDate = 2005-10-25 14:16:49 -0400;
    kMDItemContentModificationDate = 2005-12-04 04:59:06 -0500;
    kMDItemContentType = "dyn.ah62d4um4ge81k3p2";
    kMDItemContentTypeTree = (
        "com.apple.traditional-mac-plain-text",
        "public.plain-text",
        "public.text",
        "public.data",
        "public.item",
        "public.content"
    );
    kMDItemDisplayName = {"" = "mythesis.tex"; };
    kMDItemKind = {"" = tex; };
}'

AS far as I can tell, there is no difference right? Do you think the capital
E thing from the GetInfoFile mean anything?

Thanks

Matthieu
