I am posting the follow message for Trevor Harmon, who posted it to
the BibDesk list this morning. It is certainly not off-topic for this
list.

This is off-topic, but I thought it would interest most readers here.
I've written a free Dashboard widget called Symbols:

http://vocaro.com/trevor/software/widgets/

It's a reference for some of the special characters in LaTeX (Greek,
accents, etc.). When you find the character you're looking for, you
can click on it, and its code will be copied onto your clipboard for
pasting into your favorite editor.

Right now it only has a handful of symbols, simply because I don't
have time to enter all of them myself. I'm not intending to make it a
complete reference for all 2000+ LaTeX characters, but if you find
the widget useful and it's missing some symbols that you need, feel
free to add them to SymbolData.js. I'd be happy to incorporate your
additions for others to use. (It's a GPL license.)
