[OS X TeX] Impossible to compile .dbj

You're doing this from within TeXShop (French translation?), I guess.  
Try running it from the command-line:

tex bst.dbj

(after you changed the working directory to the one where bst.dbj is  
located; type 'cd ' (without the quotes), drop the directory/folder  
onto the terminal window, and press return. Then you can type the  
command given above here.

I would recommend to Dick Koch to change the behaviour of TeXShop,  
and just compile everything when we ask it to - even if TeXShop  
doesn't recognise the extension (all unknown extensions are treated  
as if they have a .tex extension.)
