[OS X TeX] Please test this: (Modified by Gerben Wierda)

After removing the cjk fonts (7.5MB) from my texmf folder the result  
was slightly better (0.5s)
2.5GHz Dual G5 Powermac, 10.4.2, 12.23 real         9.19 user          
2.78 sys


As for some "strange" results under Panther, one should check that  
the full 10 cycles have been run, since I noticed that pasting the  
original code created an additional tab or space in the list of numbers.
