In that case you may be more interested by bitmapped fonts, or
outline versions of them. The original Cairo font from OS 7 and below
included a television symbol (not really a camera, but...). Cairo was
a popular font in the early 90s, and the then-popular game Glypha was
partly inspired by it <http://homepage.mac.com/bvoisin/.Public/Cairo%
26Glypha.png>.
A TrueType version of this font is available at <http://
www.masterstech-home.com/The_Library/Font_Samples/Font_Indices/
Image_Pages/C/Cairo.html>. The above screenshot includes this
version. It's said to be based on a PostScript version, but I've not
been able to find it.
