The disk is really, really slow. I'd like a larger/faster one in this 
iBook. What I find surprising is how fast my Cube is compared to the 
powerbooks and eMac. Here too, the disk is probably the culprit (I am 
running a fast disk with 8MB cache).

Note: to compare add user and sys. Forget about real (the difference is 
spent in other programs). Except when you are running on Mactel and are 
using ppc binaries, in that case a lot of time is spent in another 
process (Rosetta) which is not reported this way and real is all you 
got.
