[OS X TeX] Latexit , Keynote and linkback

I am running 10.4.2,  LaTexIt 1.3.1, and Keynote 2.0

I downloaded the Linkback plugin for Keynote 2 and found it to work  
just fine with LaTexIt - once.

Since that initial success, LaTexIt fails to start (under any  
conditions) - I have to force quit.

I have reinstalled Keynote and LaTexIt with no success.

Does the Linkback installer for Keynote place some other files that I  
can remove. How can I get LaTexIt working for me again?
