That should be ``WYSIWYM'' (What You See Is What You Mean).

LyX is one of the most innovative and interesting open source (or 
commercial) applications I'm aware of --- that does make it hard to 
describe though --- it's an attempt to address the limitations of the 
WYSIWYG concept.
