[OS X TeX] Glossary did not work ?!?

That's a bad choice, since it's in the system's area and could be 
deleted upon an upgrade of teTeX.

That's your local extension to the system. Everything in there will be 
saved during an upgrade. So it's the natural home of all that that you 
add to teTeX.
