Yes, but isn't that what is needed to transfer the directory and have 
it reassembled on the other end?

Jérôme indicated that the wrappers would only hide their content if 
that was the option chosen by the user.  For sharing with users on 
non-Mac platforms, it seems that the directories would have to be open.
