[OS X TeX] wrapfig/pdfsync conlfict

I noticed that wrapfig conflicts with pdfsync: when both packages are 
used, placement of the first figure in the document is delayed until 
the 3rd page or so. By removing pdfsync the figure placement returns to 
normal (i.e the figure appears near where it is placed in the text).

Is this a known conflict?
