[OS X TeX] TeX environment for both Mac and Windows

Hi,

I have a colleague who has a Mac (with OS X, naturally) at home but
sometime needs to write TeX in a Windows machine.

Is there a user-friendly environment that would work on both?  I
thought of Emacs+TeTeX(OS X)/MikTeX(Windows), but this might not be
user-friendly enough.

Any suggestions?
