[OS X TeX] TL2004: LaTeX has become pdfLaTeX

It appears simlinked:

[cciotti] ~ $ ls -l `which latex`
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  admin  7 13 Oct 16:06 
/usr/local/teTeX/bin/powerpc-apple-darwin-current/latex@ -> pdfetex
