[OS X TeX] Verdana font package?

Hi Jan -

You might try installing Xelatex via the i-Installer as  Verdana is 
bundled with OS X.  Xelatex can access fonts installed on your system 
with minimal user effort.  Have a look at the homepage: 
http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&item_id=xetex

I tried a quick test and it works nicely.  Good luck.
