[OS X TeX] Trump Med. & dvips

Hi all,
first of all thanks for your suggestions concerning the Trump Mediaeval 
fonts and the different font formats. I finally decided to buy the 
Windows PS fonts (pfb, afm) at linotype – actually, I only bought the 
roman version (i.e., not the bold one etc.), as a testcase so to speak. 
I renamed the fonts according to "fontname" and followed the 
installation instruction in "fontinst". Result: everything works fine 
with pdftex, but when I use altpdflatex (dvi --> ps (Ghostscript 8) --> 
pdf) the font isn't found and gets substituted by some sans-serif font 
(Helvetica, I think). The TeX log (see below) suggests that the roman 
font (ptvr8a.pfb) – which is there – is not loaded, but the bold font  
(ptvb8a.pfb) – which is not (yet) there – is. I doublechecked 
everything and found no obvious mistake (the font is named correctly – 
ptvr8a.pfb/.afm –, and I also enabled ptv.map in config.ps in my local 
tree). Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I attach the tex log, the map 
file and the stylefile below.
