[OS X TeX] memoir question

This works with the _book.cls_, and looking at the definitions of 
appendix in book.cls and memoir.cls, I guess it might work:

\backmatter
\appendix
\renewcommand{\thechapter}{Appendix}
\chapter{Option Games}
