[OS X TeX] TrueType-fonts in LaTeX...?

That reminds me of having prepared once a presentation of my department 
in Keynote, to be used by any member of the department to present our 
activities to prospective students (and convince them to study with 
us!).

The presentation was saved as a PowerPoint document for 
interoperability, and worked fine (except for a markedly bitmapped 
appearence of some items) in PowerPoint for Mac. But then when moving 
to PowerPoint on Windows, I realized the hard way that :

- Optima doesn't exist on a standard Windows install. I ended up using 
Trebuchet MS instead (which seems to be present on both Windows and OS 
X -- or was it installed with MS Office? --, and which I got to know 
and like in this way). This implied repositioning everything manually, 
slide by slide, to get proper horizontal and vertical alignment and 
spacing.

- QuickTime isn't by default installed on Windows, and some 
administrators may decide to not install it anyway. Alas, Keynote, when 
saving a presentation to PowerPoint format, includes movies via 
QuickTime containers. Which means that I had to re-import manually, one 
by one, all the movies in the PowerPoint document on the Windows PC. 
Moreover, for some reason this didn't even work on Windows 2000, only 
XP.

So much for interoperability!
